Rules

All works must be SFW. No NSFW or dead-dove allowed for this event.Chilumi must be the main pairing, but other background ships are allowed.Fics must have a minimum 2k word count. This is a mini bang so it is very scaled down, but writers are still expected to meet the minimum word count. The codeword is "last night."Works must be original. Please do not use previously posted works or WIPs. WIPs that have not been shared are allowed.Be respectful and mindful. This is a collaborative event. Respect the mods, your partner, and other creators.Do not disrespect other’s writing/drawing style. This will not be tolerated and you will be removed from the event if this occurs.Please note this is very dependent on how many people sign up per role. We will do our best to get every writer an artist but this is dependent on how many artists sign up. We will offer the option for an artist to draw for several works, but note, there is a chance you might not get a partner. If we get more artists than writers, we will pair up several artists with one writer.Please stay in touch with your partner and mods. One again this is a collaborative event. Work with your partner and make sure to reply in a timely manner when mods check in with you. We will have weekly check-ins with each team to make sure teams are working well.Extensions will be allowed but please let mods know when they are needed as soon as you can. We understand life happens as well as this event taking place over the holiday period. Just make sure to communicate as you can with your partner and the mods.Mods reserve the right to add or adjust rules as needed.

The Discord will be the main form of communication, though it is not required. (Check FAQ). There will be channels for artists and writers to communicate and ask for help and such as this event is not just to encourage collaboration between partners but between everyone. However, writer channels for event fic planning will be kept separate.Writer Check-in 1: November 6 - November 13
Writers should have a general plot of the story including how they plan to end it, the basic plot points, and a possible approximate word count.Writer Check-in 2: November 20 - November 30
Writers should have a summary of fic prepared alongside a short excerpt, major tags, and if possible, a title.Sign-ups closed for artists: November 24Claims: December 2 - December 6
Artists will look at the summary of fics and short excerpts and pick their top 5 that they want to work on. The writers will be anonymous to give everyone a fair chance.Partners revealed: December 8
Partners will be assigned as soon as possible, but allow mods time to work the pairings out. We will do our best to match everyone up with something they picked, but we cannot guarantee you will get your top picks.Artist check-in 1: December 21 - January 18

Artists should have at least a rough plan for their drawings. Writers should be approaching editing stages. We will also be making sure people are in contact with their partners.Writer check-in 4: January 26 - February 1

FAQ

What counts as art? This event will be limited to digital or traditionally drawn art. If you draw traditionally, just make sure you can upload a high quality version.Can I post works on other sites not Twitter or AO3? Yes this is allowed! Just send the mods the links to the posts and we'll announce them on Twitter when posting begins.Do I have to have a Discord to join? Discord is not required, but you must have an alternative form of communication. We would like at least 2 ways to reach everyone, this being Discord, social media, or even email. If you share your email, this will only be seen by mods and your partner.Can I apply as an artist and a writer? No this will not be allowed, please just apply for one or the other.What if my partner doesn't communicate with me? If your partner has made no contact after 7 days, please let a mod know. However, make sure to stay polite and respectful.What happens if my partner drops out? We will attempt to pair you with someone else, but this is very dependent on time and other people.Are AUs allowed? Yes of course! AUs or canon are fine.Additional questions?
